Charles DuBois-Melly
Charles DuBois-Melly (born May 5, 1821 in Geneva , † July 1, 1905 in Plainpalais ) was a Swiss painter .
Live and act
Dubois-Melly learned to paint in the studio of his father Jean DuBois ; later he learned painting from Alexandre Calame . After his stay in Rome from 1850 to 1851 he devoted himself to the study of history and wrote historical works and novels.
