Plainpalais was a municipality in the canton of Geneva in Switzerland, which was incorporated into the city of Geneva in 1930 .

The old suburbs of Palais, Saint-Léger and Saint-Victor, located between the Rhone and the Arve , belonged to Plainpalais. Today the following districts of Geneva are in the former municipal area: La Jonction , La Cluse , Les Tranchées , Champel , Le Bout-du-Monde , Les Acacias and Les Vernets .
