- 1855: Split from Collex-Bossy → Bellevue
- 1869: Chêne-Thônex → Chêne-Bourg and Thônex split off
- 1931: Merger of Eaux-Vives , Geneva , Le Petit-Saconnex and Plainpalais → Geneva
- 1960: Change of name from Pregny → Pregny-Chambésy
