Satigny is a municipality in the canton of Geneva in Switzerland .

Satigny has around 4,000 inhabitants on an area of ​​1,908 hectares. Satigny is surrounded by the municipalities of Meyrin , Vernier , Dardagny and Russin as well as Thoiry and Saint-Genis-Pouilly in the French department of Ain . The Rhone forms the border with the municipalities of Aire-la-Ville and Bernex .

The parish also includes the villages and hamlets of Bourdigny-Dessus, Bourdingy-Dessus, Chouilly, Peissy, Peney-Dessus and Peney-Dessus.
