Gy is to the left of Lake Geneva and to the right of the Seymaz on the border with France ( Haute-Savoie ).

history

In 1798 Jussy , to which the hamlet Gy belonged, became a Geneva municipality. Gy became self-employed on November 9, 1850.

Gy was mentioned in 1227 as Gyez and in 1289 as Giez .
