Charles Hubert Millevoye (born December 24, 1782 in Abbeville , † August 26, 1816 ) was a French poet.

Charles Hubert Millevoye studied law, but then became a bookseller and made himself known through numerous classical- romantic poems, several of which won academic prizes. He died on August 26, 1816, to the exhaustion .

Millevoye also wrote translations of Homer, Virgil and Lucian and tragedies. He got the first edition of his works himself (1814-16, 5 volumes); later editions appeared in 1822, 4 volumes, and 1833, 2 volumes.
