Charles Isaac Ginner

Charles Isaac Ginner (born March 4, 1878 in Cannes , † January 6, 1952 in London ) was a Franco-British painter.

His painting is shaped by Walter Sickert , whom he knew personally. In 1904 he was at the Académie Vitti , where Henri Martin taught, but he worked most of the time under Paul Gervais. In 1905 he went to the École des Beaux-Arts , but in 1906, after Gervais was no longer there, he returned to the Académie Vitti, where Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa was his teacher. Ginner was a member of the Fitzroy Street Group .
