Charles Jacobs
Charles Jacobs ( Charles Sherman Jacobs ; February 15, 1882 , † February 1945 ) was an American pole vaulter .
At the Olympic Games in London in 1908 , he shared the bronze medal with Edward Archibald and Bruno Söderström . All three had traversed 3.58 m, while joint winners Edward Cook and Alfred Gilbert mastered 3.71 m.
His personal best of 3.76 m comes from the same year.
