Charles Payot

Charles Payot (born February 8, 1868 in Vic-le-Comte ; † September 7, 1931 in Mont-Dore ) was a French officer, most recently division general and brigadier general of the French Army of the Rhine (1921) and inter-allied chief of the field railways (1922). During the First World War Payot was promoted to brigadier general and at the end of the war he was director general for intelligence and armament of the French army (1918–1920).
