Charles T. Knight is a sound engineer .

Life

Knight began his career in the 1960s and made his film debut with the B-Movie - Horror Monstrosity . In the 1970s he was involved in several major Hollywood productions, including Douglas Trumbull's science fiction film Silent in Space , Richard T. Heffron's Futureworld, and Jerry Jameson's disaster film Lost in the Bermuda Triangle . 1973 he was for Milton Katselas comedy Butterflies are free , together with Arthur Piantadosi for the Oscar in the category Best Sound nominated, but the award went this year to Bob Fosse musical Cabaret .

From the mid-1970s, the Knights focus shifted to television. He was involved in over 20 television films and worked on 68 episodes of the television series Our Little Farm between 1974 and 1977 . He was nominated three times for the Primetime Emmy for his work . 1974 for John Korty's drama The Story of Jane Pittman , 1984 for The Day After and 1989 for the biopic The Karen Carpenter Story .
