Charles Zachary Bornstein

Charles Zachary Bornstein (born January 12, 1951 ) is an American conductor and conducting teacher.

Career

Charles Zachary Bornstein studied in Vienna , among others , but graduated from the Juilliard School in New York .

He is known primarily as the interpreter of Iannis Xenakis , and also as the conducting teacher of the Mahler conductor Gilbert Kaplan .
