Charlotte Stapenhorst

Charlotte "Stapy" Stapenhorst (* 15. June 1995 in Berlin ) is a German Hockey - national player .

Charlotte Stapenhorst started playing hockey with the Zehlendorfer Wasps . In 2010, as a B-youth, she was German A-youth champion with the Zehlendorfer Wasps and was named the best striker in the championship finals. She later played for TuS Lichterfelde Berlin . After graduating from high school, she moved to Hamburg to study architecture. With the Uhlenhorster HC she won the German championship title on the field in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and in 2017 in the hall.

At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , Charlotte Stapenhorst and the German team won the bronze medal match against New Zealand .

For winning the bronze medal, she and the German Olympic hockey team received the Silver Laurel Leaf on November 1, 2016 .

So far, she has played a total of 86 international matches in the senior national team .
