Eva Völler

Eva Völler (* 1956 in Velbert ) is a German author. In addition to her real name, she also publishes under the pseudonyms Charlotte Thomas , Francesca Santini , Anne Sievers , Paula Renzi , Sibylle Keller , Elena Santiago and Ina Hansen .

Life

Völler graduated from high school in 1975, which was followed by studying philosophy and law in Frankfurt am Main until 1982 . After completing her legal internship, she passed the second state examination in 1986. She then worked as a judge until 1992, most recently at the Darmstadt Regional Court . She then worked as a freelance lawyer until 2005. Since then she has been a freelance writer and lives with her children on the edge of the Rhön in Hesse.

Völler wrote numerous novels, some under pseudonyms, some under her real name. The author publishes books of various genres, such as cheerful travel literature and relationship comedies, crime novels, thrillers and historical novels. She has also written books on television films. The author's novels reached a total circulation of 1 million and have been translated into several languages.

In 1995, the author won the women's story prize of the Lübbe publishing group with her novel When the Postman No Longer Ring . Her novel Vollweib sucht Halbtagsmann was filmed with Christine Neubauer in the main role under the title of the same name for ARD .

Eva Völler is a member of the DeLiA - Association of German-Language Romance Writers and the Authors' Circle of the Historical Roman Quo Vadis , which dissolved in 2014.
