Charlotte Uzarewicz

Charlotte Uzarewicz (* 1956 ) is a German nursing scientist .

Life

The nurse studied ethnology , sociology and the history of medicine in Göttingen (1985–1991), where she graduated as an anthropologist and, in 1997, a sociologist Dr. disc. pole. earned ( PhD on Collective Identity and Death - The Significance of Ethnic and National Constructions ). She was a research assistant in the nursing science course at the University of Bremen (1995–1997). From 1998 she was Professor of Nursing Science at the Evangelical University of Applied Sciences in Berlin and visiting professor in the Nursing Science course at the University of Halle . Since 1999 she has been Professor of Nursing Science at the Catholic Foundation University in Munich and since 2005 Deputy Director of the Institute for Further Education, Research and Development (IF) at KSFH. Since 2008 she has been teaching honorary professor for culture and aesthetics in nursing at the PTH Vallendar .
