The association emerged in 2003 from the ASEG Chartres and Chartres TT. Chartres ASTT first played in the lower leagues before being promoted from the Pro B in 2008/09. Already in the second first division season they reached second place in the Pro A and won the ETTU Cup. In the next three years - 2012-2014 - won Chartres each French Championship, also once reached the semi-finals and once even the final of the Champions League . There the club lost the first leg 3-1 to Gazprom Fakel Orenburg , but won the second leg 3-1. However, not only the game, but also the set ratio was balanced at 16:16, which meant that the point ratio had to be decisive. With 316: 312 balls, the title went to Orenburg. In 2013/14 Chartres won all games in the group stage of the Champions League, but was disqualified because top player Gao Ning had also competed illegally in the Chinese league.

In 2015 Chartres only reached third place in the French league and was eliminated in the Champions League in the semi-finals, followed by another runner-up in 2016 and in the Champions League in the quarter-finals. In 2017 Chartres secured the fourth championship title.
