Group D

The French club Chartres ASTT was actually 12-0 in the individual standings and 8 points leader. Towards the end of the group phase, however, it turned out that Gao Ning from Chartres ASTT from Singapore was playing at the same time for a club in the Chinese A-League, which violated the ETTU statutes. Therefore Chartres ASTT was disqualified. Borussia Düsseldorf, without a win in the preliminary round, advanced to the quarterfinals.
