Chase Carey
Chase Carey (born November 22, 1953 ) is an American entrepreneur, Executive Vice Chairman of the 21st Century Fox Conglomerate and, since January 2017, Chairman of the Formula One Group .
Career
Carey is considered to be Rupert Murdoch's closest confidante outside the family. In the 1980s, he established the Fox network for Murdoch in the United States. Carey developed the Group's paid content strategy.
Carey has been Managing Director of the Formula One Group since January 23, 2017, succeeding Bernie Ecclestone .
According to the Federal Agency for Civic Education his annual salary was 26 million in 2010 dollars . Observers assume that Carey will take over the top management of the Fox group if Murdoch withdraws, if his children are not ready.
