Chase Goehring (born November 2, 1995 in Long Beach , California ) is an American singer , songwriter and guitarist .

Life

Chase Goehring grew up in Nolensville , Tennessee . He received piano lessons and learned to play the guitar. He opened a YouNow channel and posted videos of himself singing on YouTube , which to date have around 3,000,000 views. At the age of 17, Chase applied for the television series X-Factor . Four years later he signed up for the talent show America's Got Talent (season 12) and presented a. a. the self-written song "Hurt", with which he made it to the finals.
