Chaswe Nsofwa (born October 22, 1978 , † August 29, 2007 in Be'er Scheva , Israel ) was a Zambian football player .

He played as a striker in various clubs and in the national team of Zambia . In his career he was used in at least 33 international matches and scored nine goals. In 2002 he played with the national team at the Africa Cup and in 2006 he won the COSAFA Cup with Zambia .

On August 29, 2007, Nsofwa collapsed during a training game at his club Hapoel Beer Sheva in Israel. The 28-year-old later died of cardiac arrest .
