The Chatos Islands ( Spanish Islotes Chatos for flat islands ) are a group of small islands and reef rocks off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . They are located south of Cape Adriasola off the Adelaide Island .

Participants in an Argentine Antarctic expedition that lasted from 1952 to 1953 gave the group of islands their descriptive name.
