Chencang

The municipality of Chencang ( 陳倉 區  /  陈仓 区 , Chéncāng Qū ) belongs to the administrative area of ​​the district-free city of Baoji in the west of the Chinese province of Shaanxi . It has an area of ​​2,517 square kilometers and has a population of 590,000 (2004).

In the municipality is the Qiaozhen site (桥镇 遗址, Qiáozhèn yízhǐ ) from the Neolithic and the time of the Zhou dynasty , which has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2013 .
