Cheng Pu ( Chinese  程 普 , Pinyin Chéng Pǔ ; * 2nd century ; † 3rd century ) was a general of the Wu Dynasty under Sun Jian , Sun Ce and Sun Quan during the Three Kingdoms Period in ancient China.

Cheng Pu served as general to three rulers of the Sun family and was famous for his use of the serpent spear. When Sun Jian joined the coalition against Dong Zhuo and attacked Hua Xiong at the ford of the Si River, Cheng Pu covered his flank, allowing him to cross the ford and be the first at the Tong Gate, before Dong Zhuo's festivities, to arrive.

Sun Jian later launched an attack on Liu Biao , with Cheng Pu taking the offensive. After Sun Jian fell into the trap of Liu Biao's officer Lu Gong and died, Cheng Pu avenged him and killed Lu Gong. From then on, he and other veteran generals like Huang Gai served Sun Jian's son, Sun Ce.

During the conquest of the Wu territory, Cheng Pu defeated the provincial princes Liu Yong, Wang Lan and Yan Bai Hu and enabled the capture of General Taishi Ci , who from then on served the Wu.

After Sun Ce's death, Cheng Pu participated in the campaign against Xiakou and helped General Gan Ning against Huang Zu. When Cao Cao moved south, Cheng Pu cut off his path and stopped him.

In 209 he was appointed Grand Administrator of Jiangxia.

Sun Quan appointed him second general under the command of Zhou Yu to oppose Cao Cao. After Zhou Yu fell, Cheng Pu defeated Wei General Cao Ren . He later helped retake Jing Province from Liu Bei . At the Battle of Hefei, Cheng Pu fought on the front lines and defeated Wei General Zhang Liao .

In 213 he started a campaign against the bandits in Jiangxia, where his grave monument was later erected.
