Cheongwon County ( Korean : 청원군 , Cheongwon-gun ) was located in Gyeongsangnam-do Province . The county had an area of ​​779 km² and a population of 123,984 people in 2001. The county was dissolved on July 1, 2014 and became part of the city of Cheongju .
