Cheryl McCall

Cheryl McCall (born May 7, 1950 in McKeesport , Pennsylvania , † October 25, 2005 in Nevada City , California ) was an American author , film producer and screenwriter who was nominated for an Oscar .

Career

McCall was born in McKeesport in 1950. Cheryl McCall, who worked as an author and published books there such as We are the world (1985), Here's Your Chance and Streetwise . Her 1984 documentary, Streetwise , received a nomination for Best Documentary at the 1985 Academy Awards . The award went to Rob Epstein and Richard Schmiechen for their contribution to The Times of Harvey Milk .

Cheryl McCall died on October 25, 2005 at the age of 55.
