Chethan Balasubramanya (born August 18, 1992 ) is an Indian high jumper .
Athletic career
Chethan Balasubramanya gained his first international experience at the Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan , where he was eliminated from the qualification with 2.05 m. In 2017 he finished fifth at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar with a jump over 2.20 m. In 2018 he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time , where he finished eighth with a height of 2.20 m. The following year he won the silver medal behind his compatriot Sarvesh Anil Kushare at the South Asian Games in Kathmandu with a height of 2.16 m .
