The Cheyne Range is a mountain range in the center of the Australian state of Tasmania . The mountain range is located in the southeast part of the Cradle Mountain Lake St. Clair National Park , southeast of Lake St. Clair .

The highest point is Mount Olympus in the far north, east of the main ridge, at 1,449 m. Further south, also east of the main ridge, is the 1,403 m high Mount Hugel . At the southern tip of the Cheyne Range, Mount Gell is 1,447 m high.
rivers and lakes
The Franklin River rises on the east side of the Cheyne Range, on Mount Hugel, the Alma River on the northwest side and the Cuvier River on the northwest side, on Mount Olympus . To the east of the main ridge are several lakes, such as Lake Curly , Lake Dixon and Lake Undine .
