Chief Kamachi is an American rapper from Philadelphia , Pennsylvania .

Life

As the founder of the Department JuJu Mob and original member of Army of the Pharaohs ( Jedi Mind Tricks ) Chief Kamachi's been since the mid-1990s in the hip-hop - scene of Philadelphia active. Chief Kamachi is known for his lyrics towards the Black Consciousness Movement and a positive approach to life, which primarily deals with religion , politics and the future . In 2004 he released his first album , Cult Status, on Good Hands Records. The maxi single The Best with Guru von Gang Starr even reached number 1 on the college radio charts. A year later, the JuJu Mob's crew album Black Candels followed, also on Good Hands . The JuJu Mob Crew consists of four members, Reef the Lost Cauze , State Store and Charon Don, who have all made a name for themselves in the hip-hop scene. His second album, Concrete Gospel , was released on Babygrande Records in 2006 and follows on from the success of the first album. Several guest appearances followed, especially in the Jedi Mind Tricks environment and the Army of the Pharaohs initiated by the latter .
