The Chijire Glacier ( Norwegian Rukkebreen ) is a glacier in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It flows north to the Crown Prince Olav Coast , which it reaches immediately east of the Chijire Rocks .
Japanese cartographers mapped it using measurements and aerial photographs of the Japanese Antarctic expedition, which lasted from 1957 to 1962 . The Japanese name Chijire-hyōga ( Japanese ち じ れ 氷河 ) means something like "rippled glacier".
