The Crown Prince Olav Coast is a stretch of coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is bounded by the eastern entrance of Lützow-Holm-Bucht at 40 ° East and the Shinnan Glacier at 44 ° 38 'East. The Prinz Harald Coast connects to the west and the Enderbyland to the east .
Hjalmar Riiser-Larsen discovered this stretch of coast in January 1930 during a flight. Norwegian scientists later named it after the future King Olav V of Norway (1903-1991).
