description
Chimpepe means something like “overhang” and “hang out”, but over the Chimpepe falls the water just plunges 20 m vertically into the depth. This is where the bream, a species of cichlid , is caught, a delicious fish for the locals.
The Kalungwishi River offers a number of impressive waterfalls: the Lumangwe Falls , Chimpepe Falls, Kabweluma Falls , Kundabwiku Falls and Mumbuluma Falls .
