Chinese Internet Plus Strategy

The Chinese Internet Plus Strategy ( Chinese  互联网 + , Pinyin Hùliánwǎng + ) was proposed by Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang in his government work report on March 5, 2015.

On July 4, 2015, the State Council published a document with several measures on the Internet Plus strategy. The aim is economic success and social integration through economic integration with advancing information technology , the most important element being the Internet . The system should be fully expanded by 2025. This strategy is comparable to the basic ideas of Industry 4.0 , Big Data or the Internet of Things .

Internet Plus refers to the dovetailing or integration of the Internet and the application of other information technologies in traditional industries. The title is an incomplete equation, it should form a full name in combination with any industry or branch . According to Prime Minister Li Keqiang, Internet Plus will integrate mobile internet, cloud computing , big data and the internet of things into modern manufacturing to ensure the development of internet commerce, industrial networks and internet banking.

Internet + e-commerce

In 2017, China had over 528 billion euros in e-commerce sales . Users should be able to use mobile applications that make it possible to pay with their mobile phones , conduct online trading or use banking services .

Internet + agriculture

Through communication and comments on the Internet, agricultural production systems should be improved and farmers should be able to estimate demand . The origin of products should be traceable and their individual steps known in order to guarantee quality and safety.

Control in china

In all areas, comments and behavior of the users are saved and used; this is primarily used for the production of personalized products. With this method and practice, it is not possible to remain anonymous, as personal blogging sites such as Weibo , WiFi data or similar sensitive data are evaluated. The Internet Plus strategy complements the social credit system used to control Chinese citizens.
