IC 4118 is a lenticular galaxy of Hubble type S0 in the constellation Canes Venatici on the northern sky , the 504 million light-years from an estimated Milky Way is removed.
In the same region of the sky there are u. a. the galaxies IC 4108 and IC 4127 .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 21, 1903 .
