IC 4127 is a lenticular galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Hounds in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 491 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 75,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies IC 4103 , IC 4118 , IC 4142 , IC 4152 .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 21, 1903 .
