IC 4122 is an elliptical galaxy of the Hubble type E0 in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 850 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 75,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies IC 4087 , IC 4113 , IC 4128 , IC 4140 .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on January 27, 1904 .
