Chip Foto-Video is a monthly photography magazine that the publisher Chip Communications GmbH , which to Hubert Burda Media heard appears. Until the relaunch in April 2011, the magazine operated under the name Chip Foto-Video digital.

The magazine Chip Foto-Video was first published in 2003 as a product offshoot of the computer magazine Chip . The zero number appeared in mid-April as issue 5/6 2003. The first issue 10/2003 was on the kiosk in September 2003 .
Chip Foto-Video is available in two versions: Basic and with an enclosed DVD .
Edition
Chip Foto-Video has lost a lot of its circulation in recent years . The number of copies sold has fallen by 54.5 percent since 2003. It is currently 30,184 copies. This corresponds to a decrease of 36,111 units. The share of subscriptions in the circulation sold is 36.3 percent.

Chip photo world
The Chip Fotowelt was an online photography community where photographers could upload, present and rate images. In every issue of the magazine, the editorial team published pictures from the Chip Photo World and introduced a user from the community. In 2013 the Chip Photo World was transformed into the Chip Photo-Video Gallery, which was closed in 2015.
