Chobi ( Georgian ხობი ) is a Daba ( minor city ) in the Georgian administrative region of Mingrelia and Upper Svaneti .
geography
Chobi is located on the Chobiszqali River in the Colchian Plain . It has 4242 inhabitants (2014). Chobi received city status in 1981 and is currently the administrative center of Chobi Municipality .
