Chohreh Feyzdjou
Chohreh Feyzdjou (* 1955 in Tehran , † 1996 in Paris ) was an Iranian artist.
Feyzdjou belonged to the Jewish minority in Iran. She studied art in Tehran and then at the Paris Sorbonne and the École des Beaux-Arts . She mainly created installations and material images. Her main work includes a so-called “personal memory archive”. Her works have been exhibited in museums and galleries in Saint-Etienne, Cologne, Koblenz, Paris, Rotterdam and Graz, among others. After her untimely death in 1996, the installation Boutique Product of Chohreh Feyzdjou, 1973–1993 , was presented at documenta11 2002 in Kassel .
