Choll (Ngaraard)

Chol (also: Choll , Acholl , Agol , A Gol , Akoru ) is a village in the north of the administrative state of Ngaraard (i.e. an administrative area ) in the island state of Palau in the Pacific .

geography

The village of Choll is in the direct vicinity of Ngriil in Ngarchelong State in the north. The place is located in a narrow part of the island and has only a small population. The area is characterized by dense forest and steep hills. A road was recently built. The village itself consists of a long beach that stretches along the entire coast. Some old paths and platforms have been preserved and there is a large man-made canal that connects the village to the sea on the west coast. There is a small market square in the center of the village.

education

The Ministry of Education operates public schools; the closest school is the Ngarchelong Elementary School in Ngarchelong. The only secondary school is Palau High School in Koror.
