The choreoathetosis , combination of chorea and athetosis , is a neurological disease with a complex movement disorder of the extremities - and facial musculature.

Occurrence

The disease is more common in Lesch-Nyhan syndrome and kernic terus , status marmoratus and advanced Huntington's disease .

Choreoathetosis can also occur as a side effect of psychotropic drugs such as phenytoin and antibiotics .
