The Chorten Nyima (formerly Dodang Nyima ) is a mountain in the eastern main ridge of the Himalayas on the border between Sikkim in India and Tibet in China .

The Chorten Nyima has a height of 6927  m and forms the highest point of the Chorten-Nyima group . It is located 8.66 km northeast of the Jongsang Ri . On its southern flank, the Northern Lhonak Glacier flows in an easterly direction.

The Chorten Nyima was first climbed by the international Himalayan expedition in 1930 under the direction of Günter Dyhrenfurth on June 10th.
