Chosen Jacobs (born July 3, 2001 in Springfield , Massachusetts ) is an American actor .

Career

Chosen Jacobs was born in the city of Springfield, Massachusetts, and grew up in Atlanta . Since the age of ten, he has been on various theater stages in Atlanta, including performances of Hairspray . To improve his acting chances, he moved to Los Angeles with his mother and sister when he was 13. He has been an actor since 2016, after taking on the role of George in the short film Remnants . For this he was named Best Supporting Actor in a Film at the Endless Mountains Film Festival . That same year he made a recurring role as Will Grover on the Hawaii Five-0 series .

He had his breakthrough in 2017 as Mike Hanlon in Es , a film adaptation of Stephen King 's novel of the same name . In 2020 he took on the lead role of Charlie Chambers in the miniseries When the Streetlights Go On . He also appeared in a supporting role in the second season of God Friended Me .
