Chowking is a Filipino fast food chain that offers a mix of Western and Chinese fast food dishes.

Chowking was founded in 1985 by Robert Kuan as the Chinese counterpart to the American fast food chain McDonald’s . In 1989, Chowking started its expansion course by means of franchising , thus expanding its network across the Philippines. On January 1, 2000, Chowking was acquired by the Philippines' largest fast food chain, Jollibee .

Today the best-selling products at Chowking are Halo-halo and Chicken Lauriat .

In March 2010, the 400th Chowking Restaurant opened in the Philippines. There are another 30 offices in the United States and the Middle East .
