Fast food chain

Jollibee Foods Corporation operates several major fast food chains that are well known in the Philippines.

Jollibee

Jollibee is the namesake and at the same time the main company in the JFC Group. It is an American-style fast food chain and offers burgers and noodle dishes as well as Filipino dishes. The chain's signature dish is “Chicken Joy”, a kind of crispy fried chicken leg or wing. Including the subsidiaries, around 1800 branches worldwide belong to the group. The annual turnover in 2009 was around 990 million euros. Jollibee is the only fast food chain in a country that has managed to stand above McDonald’s as a top seller of fast food.

Chowking

On January 1, 2000, Jollibee Food Corporation bought the Chowking fast food chain from Chowking Food Corporation. Chowking mainly serves Chinese- style food , although hamburgers are also offered. Chowking also sells Filipino dishes like halo-halo .

Greenwich

In 1986 JFC took over 80 percent of Greenwich Pizza, and in 2006 Jollibee took over Greenwich entirely. Greenwich, like its main competitor, Pizza Hut, primarily supplies pizza and other western-oriented dishes.

Mang Inasal

Mang Inasal ( ceb. For Mr. Barbecue ) offers local dishes such as halo-halo, pansit , or sisig. There are also grilled foods such as chicken legs (Chicken Inasal). Mang Inasal was introduced to offer the Filipinos not only the western-oriented Jollibee but also local food. Mang Inasal has become a very popular brand. There is also a special brand of Mang Inasal , which ma'am Inasal (woman Barbecue) is called. Their products are mainly grilled chicken-flavored snacks and chicharon .

Red Ribbon and Goldilock's

Red Ribbon and Goldilock's are also well-known brands in the Philippines. Both are primarily known for an assortment of cakes and other baked goods. Red Ribbon (English for Red loop ) offers cakes and pies. In contrast to other companies in the Jollibee network, there are no tables and chairs in Red Ribbon branches. Goldilock's sells cakes like Red Ribbon, but has a smaller selection. Goldilock's offers bread, soups and drinks for this. There are also seats and tables in Goldilock's.

Smashburger

In 2015, JFC took a 40% stake in the US fast-food restaurant chain Smashburger .
