Chrášťany (desert)

Chrášťany is a desert in the area of ​​the city of Kolín in Okres Kolín , Czech Republic .

The Chrášťany desert is located west of Tři Dvory halfway to Zálabí on the slope of Na Vinici (248 m nm) over an oxbow lake of the Elbe .

history

The first documentary mention of Chrášťany took place in 1273 together with Břežany , Ovčáry and Heindrichov in a document of protection from Pope Gregory X. for the villages of the Strahov monastery . In the Strahov land register of 1410, six farmers freed from the robot are listed for Chrášťany . The village comprised eight hubs of arable land. When at the beginning of the Hussite Wars a Hungarian mercenary army of King Sigismund devastated the area north of Kolín at the end of 1420 , Chrášťany became extinct.

The hall is now called Na Chrástku .
