Chris Beard
Chris Beard (born 20th century in Canada ) is a Canadian economist. He took over as CEO of Mozilla Corporation in July 2014 . Prior to that, he was appointed interim CEO of Mozilla Corporation in April 2014.
Beard held various positions at Mozilla from 2004 to 2013. During this time he filled u. a. the role of Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Innovation Officer .
In 2013 he moved to Greylock Partners as Executive in Residence . In April 2014, he returned to Mozilla with his appointment as interim CEO . On July 28, 2014, he finally took over the CEO position at Mozilla Corporation.
Before joining Mozilla, Beard worked for various companies in the IT industry in the marketing area.
