Chris Carter (writer)

Chris Carter (born July 14, 1965 in Brasília , Brazil ) is a Brazilian writer and writer of thrillers .

Carter was born the son of Italian immigrants in Brazil and went to the United States after graduating from school. After studying forensic psychology in Michigan ( United States ), he worked for six years as a criminal psychologist for the prosecution. After moving to Los Angeles , he made a career as a guitarist and toured with Ricky Martin , Shania Twain , Björk and Tom Jones , among others . Carter currently lives in London , where he works as a full-time writer. He writes his books in English.
