Chris Copping

Chris Copping (1975)

Chris Copping (born August 29, 1945 in Middleton , Lancashire ) is a British musician .

Life

In 1960 he joined the group The Paramounts as a guitarist . In December 1962 he left the group again to study chemistry at the University of Leicester . After graduating in 1966, he worked for the government as a Ph.D. After separating from his wife, he returned to music and, at the invitation of Robin Trower, replaced Matthew Fisher and David Knights at Procol Harum in 1969 until they were temporarily dissolved in 1977.
