Christopher "Chris" John Mason (born December 17, 1969 in Bristol ) is an English darts player . His nickname is "Mace The Ace".

Career

Mason won the Scottish Open in 1995 . In 1996 he took part for the first time in the World Professional Darts Championship of the British Darts Organization (BDO). In 1999 and 2000 he reached the semifinals of this tournament. At the Winmau World Masters 2000 he also reached the semifinals.

Mason has been playing in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) since 2000 and is currently no longer in the Order of Merit .

Private

Mason has come into conflict with the law several times in his life. He was sentenced to three years in prison in June 2003, but only served about one year of that.

Mason is married and has three children.
