PDC Order of Merit

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The PDC Order of Merit determines the official ranking of the participating players of the darts organization Professional Darts Corporation . The prize money earned in the ranking tournaments in the last two seasons results in a table, according to which the seeding lists for certain tournaments are created.

Since 2007, it has not only taken into account tournament victories, but the entire prize money in the relevant PDC tournaments over the past two years.

Influence of the Order of Merit on PDC tournaments

In most PDC tournaments, the Order of Merit is the prerequisite for entry and the seeding list of the players.

Positions in the Order of Merit for direct qualification for PDC tournaments

Most tournaments also have an impact on the formation of the Order of Merit, as their money is included in the ranking.

Major tournaments, the results of which flow into the Order of Merit

Certain tournaments of the PDC, in which only individual players are invited, have no influence on the Order of Merit.
