format

Each player plays against both players from the other nation in a best of legs mode for points. There is also a double, in which the players from one country take turns after each admission, i.e. also during the legs . If a team reaches a certain number of points first, it wins the game; So it doesn't have to come to all kinds of duels.

history

In 2010 the PDC organized a major event with teams for the first time with the World Cup of Darts. The best 24 nations of the PDC Order of Merit met in Newcastle. The specialty of this tournament is the mix of single and double competitions.
